Un jour, sa grand-mère l'observa longuement depuis la porte de la maison. — « Pommy, mon petit, pourquoi tu passes toutes tes journées à jouer au football ? » Le petit fruit s'arrêta, essuya la sueur sur son front et répondit : — « Mamie, un jour, je serai un grand footballeur. Je jouerai devant des milliers de personnes. Je gagnerai de l'argent et je prendrai soin de toi. Tu n'auras plus jamais à vivre dans cette petite maison. » Sa grand-mère sentit les larmes lui monter aux yeux.
