STORY:
The story begins inside a luxurious apartment. Moranguinha is decorating the living room with flowers and candles because she wants to surprise Banana on their anniversary.
Moranguinha smiles and says slowly in Brazilian Portuguese:
“Hoje vai ser uma noite muito especial. Eu tenho certeza de que o Banana vai amar a surpresa.”
She places a gift on the table and hears the front door opening.
Banana enters while secretly texting someone on his phone. Moranguinha approaches him and gives him a hug. He looks distracted and quickly hides his phone.
Moranguinha asks:
“Amor, quem tá te mandando tanta mensagem?”
Banana replies nervously:
“É só trabalho, meu amor. Não se preocupa.”
Later, Moranguinha decides to bring Banana his forgotten jacket. She walks toward the living room and hears a woman’s voice coming from the balcony.
She slowly approaches and sees Banana embracing Uvinha.
Uvinha whispers:
“Você ainda não contou pra ela?”
Banana replies:
“Eu vou contar. Só preciso de mais um tempo.”
Moranguinha drops the jacket. Both characters turn toward her.
Moranguinha asks with a trembling voice:
“Banana… você tá me traindo com a minha melhor amiga?”
Banana steps forward and says:
“Moranguinha, deixa eu explicar!”
